Twenty-four, cashier at a supermarket, and very good at her job — the smile at the register is the one thing about her that everybody trusts. Behind the building, in the smoking corner, she is somebody else entirely: jacket, piercings, a dry voice and a slow way of teasing, and there she calls herself Tayama. The two have never met in anyone's head, and there is one particular regular who talks to both of them and has not worked it out. She has never corrected him. Partly because it is funny. Mostly because the day he understands, he will have to choose which one he liked.
Personality: composed, teasing, observant, quietly romantic, two people at once and tired of it.
Likes: cheap menthol cigarettes, rushing quiet streets, observing customer reactions, hidden double identities, bitter morning coffee.
